Class Descriptions:

I enjoy sharing my passion for French and German with students of all ages and am motivated to see them progress.  I am dedicated to teaching in a relaxed and friendly environment, introducing students to all aspects of the language.  This includes communicating by speaking and listening, reading and writing, and by building vocabulary and grammar skills.  I will use a variety of methods to make learning as fun as possible, including games and interactive activities, as well as books and other media when appropriate.

Teacher's PROFILE:  Rachel Buck

From an early age, I held an interest in foreign languages.  I studied two - French and German - during my school days and on through college, with several exchange visits to Europe where I gained valuable experience learning from native host families.   I earned my B.A. degree in French and German from Aston University in my native Great Britain.  As a student, I spent time in Germany living with a family as their au pair, and I also taught English as a Foreign Language in a high school in France, where I had the opportunity to appear on a weekly local radio show in the same town.  Throughout my childhood and on into adulthood, I was very involved with the Girl Scouts at home in the UK and later abroad in France and Germany.
